Wedding Family Photo Tips
Family photos can be some of the trickiest pictures to figure out, let alone get to run smoothly!! So here are my best wedding family formal photo tips!!
First things first
I will send a questionnaire about 3 months before your wedding to get all the details of who you want in your family formals. The more detailed the better!!
- Give me their names AND relations to you
- Give me the groupings you want captured (ex: BOTH families in full)
The Drama
WARN me of any family drama! My day with you is 100% judgement free, so give me a heads up about any family members that don’t get along, etc.. I don’t want to make your parents hold hands and snuggle each other if they are divorced and remarried to other people.
Last but not least
Designate someone to be the cat wrangler!!!! Yes…. doing the wedding family formal photos is like herding cats, so do everyone a favor and alleviate your stress by tasking someone else to grab great aunt sue from the bar and keep uncle larry from sharing the same story for the 3rd time away from your friends!!
