While I may be a little biased as a wedding photographer let’s talk about unplugged ceremony pros & cons!!

As a wedding photographer, I have to admit I am a big fan of unplugged weddings BUT I can definitely see that there a few things you could be missing out on! Either way, your wedding day will be perfect and all that matters is you make the right choice for your special day!! With that said let’s get to these unplugged ceremony pros and cons!!

Unplugged Pros

  • Avoids people getting in the way of the vendors like moving into the aisle and blocking the first kiss shot for the photographer and videographer
  • Allows the guests to be more present with you
  • You don’t have a bunch of cell phones in your photos

Unplugged Cons

  • You get images from your friends and family that you have access to that evening/next day
  • Allows for more natural candid moments and videos that only your closest friends can capture
  • You can incorporate ways to include cell phone photos, like everyone take a photo at the same exact time during the ceremony so that everyone gets the same shot but from every angel of the ceremony

AGAIN, despite all of this it’s important to make whatever choice is perfect for you and your wedding, but I hope this made your decision a bit easier if you were on the fence!!
